@Hive Membership Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: November 2024
These Membership Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between members (“you,” “your”) and @Hive (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing a membership or using @Hive’s services, you agree to these Terms.
Article 1: General Provisions
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using @Hive services, you agree to these Terms, the Member Code of Conduct, and other applicable policies. Updates to these Terms will be communicated to members, and continued use constitutes acceptance of revisions.
1.2 Membership Eligibility
Membership is available to individuals aged 18 or older pursuing professional or entrepreneurial goals. Applicants must complete a membership application and meet eligibility criteria. @Hive reserves the right to approve or deny applications.
1.3 Membership Term and Tenure
Memberships are valid for one (1) year from the activation date, with renewal subject to timely payment. Members may pause their membership for up to three months with written notice, extending the membership term accordingly.
1.4 Continuity of Terms
In the event of organizational changes, these Terms will transfer seamlessly to the new entity without impacting members’ rights or obligations.
1.5 No Voting Rights
Membership does not confer voting rights or governance privileges within @Hive or its parent company, ElastaLink Corp.
1.6 Feedback and Suggestions
By providing feedback, you grant @Hive the right to use it for service improvements and marketing without compensation. Confidential or proprietary information should not be shared in feedback submissions.
Article 2: Membership Tiers and Benefits
2.1 Membership Tiers
@Hive offers Starter, Core, Premium and Corporate memberships, each providing varying levels of access to services, facilities, and events. Details are provided during sign-up.
2.2 Benefits
Membership benefits include event access, networking opportunities, and workspace solutions. Some benefits may incur additional fees or require prior booking.
2.3 Changes to Benefits
@Hive reserves the right to modify or discontinue benefits, with significant changes communicated to members at least 30 days in advance.
2.4 Member Credits
Credits issued as membership benefits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Unused credits cannot be refunded, redeemed for cash, or transferred to another member or account.
2.5 Promo Codes and Vouchers
Promo codes and vouchers are valid only for the dates specified at issuance. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged for credits or benefits.
Article 3: Payment Terms
3.1 Fees
Membership fees are payable annually and non-refundable except as required by law. Taxes are additional and calculated based on jurisdiction.
3.2 Late Payments
Late payments incur a 5% penalty after 10 business days. Accounts overdue by 30 days may result in suspension or termination of membership.
3.3 Auto-Renewal
Memberships renew automatically unless canceled at least one (1) business day before the renewal date. Members are notified 30 days in advance.
3.4 Refund Policy
Refunds are only issued under specific circumstances, such as failure to deliver promised services or as required by law.
Article 4: Member Conduct
4.1 Code of Conduct
Members must act respectfully and comply with all policies. Prohibited behaviours include:
- Illegal activities
- Sharing membership privileges
- Disruptive or harmful conduct
4.2 Guest Policies
Guests are allowed in specified areas and must adhere to all @Hive policies. Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct.
4.3 Confidentiality
Members must respect the confidentiality of shared information within @Hive spaces and platforms.
Article 5: Privacy and Data Protection
5.1 Data Collection and Use
Member data is collected for service delivery and managed in compliance with Canadian privacy laws.
5.2 Security Measures
@Hive employs reasonable measures to protect data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Article 6: Membership Cancellation and Termination
6.1 Member-Initiated Cancellation
Members may cancel with one (1) business day’s written notice before renewal. Refunds are not provided for unused terms.
6.2 Termination by @Hive
@Hive reserves the right to terminate memberships for policy violations or non-payment, with prior notice.
Article 7: Limitation of Liability
7.1 General Liability
@Hive is not liable for:
- Service interruptions
- Loss of personal property
- Injuries sustained on premises
7.2 Force Majeure
@Hive is not responsible for disruptions caused by unforeseen events beyond its control.
Article 8: Dispute Resolution
8.1 Arbitration
Disputes unresolved through support channels will be subject to arbitration in Ontario under the Arbitration Act.
8.2 No Class Actions
Members waive the right to participate in class actions against @Hive.
Article 9: Intellectual Property
All @Hive intellectual property, including trademarks and materials, is protected by law. Members may not use these assets without explicit permission.
Article 10: Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Welcome to the official website of @Hive and associated digital services (collectively referred to as the “Websites”). By accessing or using the Websites, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you should immediately cease all use of the Websites.

- Unauthorized use of trademarks, copyrights, or proprietary content is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Permission to Copy
- Limited reproduction of content is allowed under “fair dealing” laws, provided the use is non-commercial and credits @Hive.
- For commercial or public uses, Users must obtain prior written approval by contacting contact@athive.com.
Article 4: Third-Party Content and Links
- The Websites may contain links to external websites for convenience. These links do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
- @Hive is not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or legality of content on third-party websites.
- Users should review the terms and policies of any external websites they visit.
